In order to achieve this goal, 16 classrooms are required, which are being constructed in 5 phases. Besides building class rooms, LiveBuild also invests in the people who propagate the UAC teaching approach: the teachers, the project staff and the management. That is why training is an important part of the project. Furthermore, projects such as "Schools on Wheels" are part of the program. The buses from Schools on Wheels drive to the hard-to-reach villages to give extra lessons to children in the region. Other projects are focussed on HIV / AIDS education, Vocational Training, Remedial Training and Computer Training. We will continue to stay involved in this school project in order to guarantee its sustainability and quality.
UAC approaches teaching in a “holistic” manner. This means that in addition to standard education such as reading, writing and math, children receive tools that are important for their living environment. This includes technical knowledge about land processing, livestock farming and crafts. UAC also teaches young Cameroonians human values (the so called "living values") such as honesty, sharing and friendship. In this way, the children grow into involved and responsible citizens who will work hard towards a better future, for themselves and their environment.
